Where to get Table Manager Plugin?

Hi, Newie here

My eventual interest is to use QGIS vector data analysis in particular polygon attributes. I note Page 2 of the Quantum GIS User,Installation & Coding Guide Ver1.0.0 states that it is possible to "manage vector attribute tables with the table manager plugin". However, under the QGIS Plugin Manager there doesn't seem to be a "table manager plugin".

Any advice to find out where it's hiding?

Welcome! You will find all sorts of useful plugins by enabling 3rd part repositories in the python plugin manager. You may have to install the latest python plugin installer before oyu can do this... This is also where you'll find the table manager plugin...
