Point layer missing when printing

Let's get to the point.

I have been trying to print from a project which I added a delimited text layer to. Everything (lines, polygons, manually added points) shows up on the printout except for the points added by the delimited text layer plugin. I have saved them as a shapefile and loaded the shapefile with no success in printing.

Does anyone know how to get points added using the delimited text layer plugin to show up on the print composer and ultimately paper?
